Call for papers

West meets East

The theme of the 2020 Conference is "West meets East", our aim being to celebrate European lexicography from Portugal in the West to Georgia in the East, and world lexicography across the globe from West to East. Papers on all aspects of historical lexicography and lexicology are welcomed. There are slots for both papers and poster presentations. Papers will be 20 minutes in length, followed by a 10-minute discussion. Poster presentations will be staged in a dedicated session. Papers and poster presentations are to be delivered in English or in French.

Call for papers and posters: proposals

Abstracts (ca. 500 words in length) sould contain no self-identification and should be submitted electronically through ICHLL website using the scienceconf platform. You should indicate whether the proposal is intended for oral presentation or for a poster.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts is Friday 14th January 2022. Notification of acceptance will be sent out by Friday 25 February 2022.

The abstracts (accepted for presentation) will be published on the conference website. We intend to publish a selection of the papers in an edited digital volume.
